Every week, we will share some goodies in Singapore that we genuinely felt that it’s good! Here are some of the notables places!
Chic-a-boo Fried Chicken
Personally, I feel that they serve the
It’s a fast-food restaurant so a 2-pcs chicken with 2 sides costs only S$7.90. We always visit the outlet at Marina Square. There are four outlets in Singapore.

Benjamin Barker’s Cafe
Yeah, I know. When did Benjamin Barker venture into the food industry?! Well, they really did and the food is good!
We had Chilli Lime Seafood Aglio Olio and Bom Chika Wow Wow upgraded with Mentaiko Fries. Their Aglio Olio had a good balance between the garlic and spiciness. It’s also less oily compared to some other restaurants that we had tried before.
The fried chicken in the burger was tender and juicy, with a thin and crispy skin that didn’t taste greasy at all. It was also topped with a truffle paste fried egg and pear coleslaw, which made the meal very refreshing. You can also choose to top with Truffle Fries. The lady was very nice to give us their Truffle Mayonnaise, which is really delicious!

It’s not the best ramen that I have eaten but it’s really quite decent in the midst of the city area. While the ramen tasted normal, the soup was really thick and flavourful.
The char siew was really soft – not the kind that will melt in your mouth but it’s good enough to satisfy a ramen craving.
We had ramen because we wanted to utilise our 1-1 Beyond membership. The restaurant is famous for their Unatendon so you might want to try that instead!

Ri Ri Hong Mala Xiang Guo
I’m quite sure every mala lover knows about this store at People’s Park Complex. It has the cheapest and best-tasted mala I had ever eaten so far.
Of course, the price depends on what you have ordered. With this amount of food that we had, it could easily cost 25 bucks at other places. What we loved about this place is that the price is fixed and the store helper will take the food for you. You don’t have to worry about taking too much and be shocked at the price!
