Two weeks ago, I received a call from an OCBC officer in the midst of a meeting. Apparently, there is a new OCBC card in town that is really good for rewards. I couldn’t really comprehend what he said but I accepted anyway since there is no harm trying. Eh, but I really dislike how they conveniently send me another credit card. Oh well.
We have been hearing a lot on using ANZ Travel Visa Signature. If you are traveling to Australia or New Zealand, ANZ do give extra perks (i.e. more miles). But is it really true that this is the best air miles credit card to be used for occasional travelers like us?

It’s time to ditch DBS Live Fresh Card.
Four months ago, we applied the credit card to make a booking for Eaton Hong Kong. During that time, DBS offered $80 cashback if you charge 500 SGD within a month of approval to this credit card. On top of the welcome bonus, this card was offering 6% cashback for all online purchases. It was also offering 3% travel cashback and 3% live fresh rebates.
We have noted our daily expenses in Hong Kong this time round. It is a habit we want to start so that we can keep track of our budget closely. To summarise, Hong Kong is expensive. We budgeted around 250 SGD/day for all our necessities, shopping and gifts.
